Old Golf Club history
I am aware that this cake is not trendy at all and that it will not capture your attention too, however I will tell you its story. I made it for the last dinner of the season in the local Golf Club. As it is the second oldest in Italy, with a lot of bristish history, and its library is worldwide famous, I thought of reproducing one of the old shelves of the library for the first layer, on the second one I painted hand free some scenes of the course and the Club House, on top the logo which is a lady playing golf, most probably belonging to the thirties. The same lady, in sheet metal, is on the roof of the Club House indicating the direction of the wind. Definitely each slice was a slice of history : ) Thank you for looking and maybe for reading!
