Some photos of the cake and shoes I made for my Cake International Entry last week. The cake is a 4 layer chocolate mud cake and the shoes are made from 100% flower paste – I was delighted to achieve my first Gold award for these :o)

I have been asked a by a number of people about the colours used – I used White, Wilton Ivory and Wilton Brown pastes – both the shoes and the bag were then airbrushed with Rainbow Dust ‘Mink’ edible paint to achieve a satin style of finish…
