When a fellow cake decorator (who has become a wonderful friend) asks you to make her birthday cake and gives you free reign on design it can become dangerous!! I changed my mind so many times and agonised over making the perfect cake right up until two days before pick up! I am extremely pleased with how it turned out…it’s my new favourite! Tricia (from Tricky Cakes) was over the moon with it too which makes it all worth while. Top tier was choc hazelnut filled with chocolate ganache and crushed hazelnuts, bottom tier was mocha filled with coffee infused chocolate ganache.
