This is my first skylanders cake and it certainly took some to get my head around how the game works.

Once I had familiarised myself with the elements I bought a spyro figure to top the cake (the customer requested a figure), and I specifically selected a figure from the magic element.

Once the figure had been selected, I designed the bottom tier to resemble that element. The triangles were replicated from the base of the game figure, the gold detail was handpainted. The purple bottom tier was also hand painted to be given a magical feel and finished with the magic logo which was hand cut.

The top tier was based on the portal itself and the portal symbols were also hand cut.
