Pretty in Pink- Wedding Cake with large open roses
Talking about saving the best for last, here’s the second cake from the back to back mayhem.Month of November has definitely been a great start for me as I get the opportunity to make a wedding cake for Sanjana and George. The bride Sanjana being the niece of Sir Yesudas,a living legend among world renowned singers, our very own Gaana Gandharvan(Celestial Singer). An ever charming, humble, a very down to earth person inspite of all his achievements.Have to mention about PrabhaChechi too for being such a fabulous lady at heart! A day I will never forget for the rest of my life. After meeting them,I felt very light at heart even though a lot of things were going on in my mind about deadlines.
Got to meet their sweet DIL too who was the one who referred my name to the making of the wedding cake.
The wedding cakes theme was blush pink and grey and this is what I could churn out for the chic and happening couple.
Named ‘Pretty in Pink’, the wedding cake traveled yet again to its destination Changanachery, Kerala, India, from Trivandrum, Kerala, India(around 150 miles away!). Was pretty scared during the whole journey as the weather was way too unpredictable and not to forget the Indian roads too.But must say that the cake survived the whole journey but for a thin line of crack behind. Thank God for that! Alhamdulillah!
Had a blast with Thankam too and of course as usual she never fails to impress anyone with her awesome clicks!I owe u big time girl!
So a pretty and chic cake for a pretty and chic couple it is! Here you go!
Must add, during our shoot we had some visitors to be our background. The lovely geese adds to a romantic touch to the cake! Isn’t it?
And the damask design was given an inverted pattern for a change. :)
