I was asked to make this wedding cake, the specifics were all ivory and freesias.

Just about everything on this cake was a first

My first time at making a mexican hat (style flower)
my first Freesias
my first 4 tier cake
my first time at taping a spray of flowers together
and My first wedding cake

I was very lucky to have my amazing friends Christine and Jacinta two very very special people in my life talk me through my nerves and encourage me all the way. Thank you both for your unlimited patience xxx

And a good few giggles along the way with Jacinta, Calli and Christine when I accidentally sat on one of the flower stems.

Cake was 12, 10, 8 and 6 inch tiers of chocolate mud cake and Jaffa mud cake. (with chocolate ganache)

It literally weighed a tonne, I know because my hubby has had hand surgery so I had to move it myself to get a few photos, my knees almost caved lol
