I made this cake for my son and his fiancee’s engagement dinner. The Love Birds are “tying the knot” with a piece of rope. All the flowers were hand-made.
The bottom cake was a cream-cheese vanilla pound cake filled with strawberry buttercream and sliced strawberries. The top cake was a lemon cake with a lemon-infused buttercream filling. Half of the cupcakes were orange with a chocolate pudding fiilling and a chocolate ganache frosting and the other half were chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate ganache frosting.
We had a lovely time and the future bride and groom were very happy with their Engagement Cake.
