My entry for the Hamburg Cake Fair – Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha - Gold and Best in Class

This was my entry for the Hamburg Cake Fair last weekend – Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Prince Consort of Great Britain and Ireland – the original statue stands proudly in the middle of our beautiful town square in Coburg. I had been playing with the idea of making a copy of the statue for quite a while before the Cake Fair presented me with an excellent opportunity to finally take it on. I am extremely happy and, to be honest, a little proud to report that my work was awarded with a Gold Medal and ‘Best in Class’.
