Girly Baby Shower with Bows and Flowers

This baby shower cake I made for my sis-in-law who had her little girl just two weeks before I had mine. I did this one after not having done cakes for over 3 months, while 7 months pregnant and boy were my legs aching after! With my “mommy brain” (yes, I still have it after more than a year) I’d forgotten to post it to my FB page until just yesterday lol.

The block on top was made from cereal treats and spelt out “BABY”. The colours and design were made to match a pillow from the nursery.

This is adorable. By the way, do you think I can get away with blaming my forgetfulness on mommy brain even though my “babies” are 31 and 26. No?? Might be a little late. Oh well it was worth a try. lol

LOL Goreti – I’m gonna use it as long as it’ll fly and if I can use it until my kids are adults (albeit that means I’d have to do it consistently for many more years) I will haha. So yeah, go for it lol =D
