I made this cake for my son’s 5th birthday party! I originally planned to make a 3D train to go around the cake board but saw a cake online a couple weeks before his party that had a 2D train on the cake with 3D characters inside and I knew I had to try it! It was so hard to capture all the details of this cake in one shot so I took lots of photos:) My son requested to be part of his cake so I made a fondant version of him to drive the train. The cake is frosted in white chocolate ganache tinted with food coloring and the decorations and characters are made from fondant. I LOVED making this cake for him! Thanks for looking!
