Adonis Sculpture Wedding Cake
Adonis Wedding Cake ~
This cake was made for 2 Grooms…..it’s a bit of a controversy – the younger male is a flamboyant Fashion designer and an Atheist and the older male is a Clergyman/Priest. I was given complete freedom of design for this cake and this is what I came up with. The Adonis sculpture represents a model and the blue satin is fashion fabric…and of course the cross represents the ‘priest’ side of things….
I have used my home made ‘Moroccan Trellis’ pattern cutters for the first time – I don’t own a Marvelous mold – but my home made ones did the trick quite marvelously and I just free handedly placed them – they did not quite meet correctly at the back but that I have subtly covered with a bit of flowing fabric.
The chain and cross is a mold I made. The chain mold I also sell on my Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/melsugarmamas
The cake is Orange Marmalade with White chocolate Ganache….very yummy!!!!
Thanks for looking!
