This is my cake that recently took first place in Professional Category at The Icing on the Cake show in Bossier City, La. The entire cake was covered in white PME Sugarpaste and hand painted using PME glycerin colors. The decorations on the pot were all hand molded. This was my first time making an iris and they could probably be improved next time. The judges said they were not of the same caliber as the pot. But I was thrilled with the 1st place ribbon nonetheless!!
