This was my first handbag cake order. It’s made out of maderia sponge with vanilla buttercream and homemade strawberry jam and is made to replicate the Louis Vuitton speedy 30 bag. I had planned to do it slightly differently, using printed icing sheets, but the colour or size of the print as it wasn’t the same as the bag the customer had asked for so I airbrushed the colour and then hand painted the logo on – it took me about 10hrs! I hope you like it.
