Aqua Wedding Cake

This is the dummy-version for a wedding-cake for my own father next month.
What do you think of this?
After I painted this one I learned a lot in the workshop from Alice van den Ham, so I think the painting will be better in the real cake.

When Riany Clement from BellariaCakesDesign made her Escher cake I new this idea was perfect for my father, he loves it. But I wanted to make something new, so I searched for another design and handpainted it on the fondant. The bride loves aqua-colors so that explains the color.
And with the great tutorial from Sharon Wee I made the ruffled layer.

Wauw, ik voel me vereerd dat je mijn Escher taart hebt gebruikt ter inspiratie voor deze taart.
Good job!

Thank you!

Fredlovescake: one rainy sunday, so that wasn’t as long as I expected. And an second day becouse the colour was to greenish.

Gulnaz: Yes I did! I marked every 2 cm a dot as a guideline. Thanks, but it isn’t perfect at all. If you look closely you will see that the corners not always fitt as they should. But…I wasn’t happy with the colour as it was, so I re-painted the entire cake and in the secound layer I could fix some corners.
