I made this baseball diamond cake by trimming the edges of an 8×8 square cake. I kept all of those extra pieces and crumbled them up to use as the “dirt” on the field. The baseballs and bases were made out of fondant and I used the grass frosting tip to create the texture all over the rest of the cake. It was a surprise, and as you can see I had one happy guy on his birthday!
