This cake was for a 10 year wedding anniversary! The silver tier gave me some grief!! it was the first time I tried to paint a whole tier with silver lustre & I didn’t have the right tools & no time to get them! let’s just say I learned a lot!! ;) I love the ruffles, I’ve done ruffles before but this was the first time I did them using the technique that Lesley shares on Royal Bakery’s fb page. I love how it was one strip fro each ruffle. I had a 7" cake so I ended up using an 8" & 6" cake card to make my circle strip – it fit around the cake perfectly!
These colours work so well together – I was so happy with how it all turned out :) thanks for looking, kez* x
