This cake was made for my sister in law to pass on to her friend. A friend to her for many years has just been told she has stage 3 breast cancer and has lost already lost one breast, she now has lost the other and is facing intense chemo. My sister in law wanted to do something to make her smile and knowing her love of her Yorkshire terriers (she has 5) she asked me to make her a cake before the treatment starts. I’m told she loved it. This is why I love what I do, i’m honoured to be a part of any special occasion in someones life but to bring someone joy at such a dark time is all the reward I need.
