When my niece asked me to make her a cake with a Jeep to resemble hers on top, I had to admit I panicked a little. Had no idea how I was going to make a Jeep. Luckily I found Liz Marek’s RKT cake tutorial on Youtube. Took some of her tips and this is what I came up with. I forgot the side mirrors but when I realized it I didn’t want to mess with it any more. Pretty happy with the result. Cake is coconut/pineapple curd filling/coconut SMBC & MMF. Also decided to practice modeling & made the couple. Doesn’t quite look like them but…..

Thank you! Still have to work on modeling faces. Would love to make them realistic but that’s not going to happen.

I think it looks fantastic! I wouldn’t have missed the mirrors if you hadn’t said anything! Your modeling is great! Faces are so hard to do!!

Thanks Toni and yes I do find faces very difficult. I guess I could get a mold but really wanted to be able to do them without one.

Looks great G… Jeep & couple are both so well done…… :o)

Creativity is God's gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God. Clarky's Cakes 😎

Thanks June. My niece was surprised I had done the couple but I didn’t think I wanted just a Jeep on top of rocks like she asked. She was thrilled with it though. Loved how the blouse looks like one of hers.
