A cake I made in the shape of Willie Nelson’s bust for That Takes the Cake Sugar Art Show out of Austin, Texas. It won best of all divisions and was #1 on Reddit.com the morning of the competition (Feb 2013). It had coverage from multiple national media outlets including MSN, LA Times, KVUE Austin, Cake Central, Brooklyn Vegan and was featured in American Cake Decorating Magazine’s May/June 2013 issue.
