Here’s my first buttercream imprinting cake as well as my first ever time doing tea cups, let alone painting them! Matched the invite or at least tried to… :) This cake is 8"- 6" – 4" all buttercream iced (except bottom layer stripes are fondant!).

While i was in London earlier this month, i did an exclusive master class and learned the imprinting technique with the Queen of Hearts Couture Cake and used that for the bottom two tiers. The top tier has edible jelly jewels that i bought in a cake shop in St Albans (not sure if they are even available in the US!) but i’m going to search for them, they were simple to use!

And lastly, this was my first attempt at gumpaste teacups and painting them. Hopefully they are well represented and similar to the invite. The birthday girl was thrilled and that’s the most important! Thanks for looking!
