Newborn Dress Cookie

Newborn Dress Cookie

I was asked to make cookies for an unborn baby girl based on one of her nursery decoration (cookies to be given as gift when the baby is born – it is nicely wrapped in a bag with a ribbon). You can see it in the second picture. I used the bell cookie to make the dress and I have uploaded a tutorial few weeks ago that you can find here:

Josie, thank you VERY much for your support and for adding this to your favorites!

I see you are in the Bay Area, I lived 10 years in San Francisco, in the South Beach area, adjacent to the Financial District. I miss it so much :-(((

These are just the cutest thing! What a great little gift! I have never made cookies on a stick before. Do you put the stick in before or after baking them? I would love to make them sometime!

Toni, thank you for your lovely comments and for adding this to your favorites!
I do put the sticks before I bake the cookies, the baking time is around 7 to 8 mn so they don’t get time to burn. I use Wilton’s Lollipop sticks because the Cookie sticks are way too thick for smaller size cookies. One advice: insert the stick gently into the cookie (that has to be super cold)… Hope this helps, let me know if you need more info!
