Fireman Helmet Cake

This was a super fun project to work on! I was sent a picture of the Birthday boy’s helmet in secret to try to re-create in cake form. I used red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream filling covered with black fondant and all fondant details. I painted the yellow patches with a little bit of shimmer dust to try to recreate some of the reflective quality the helmet has. Even added the “tarheel” sticker on the back of the helmet just like the real one had!
