The bottom tier is made up of ruffled petals placed on top of one another, with a pearl dragee center, I started out with 25 flower blossom made up of 4 different sizes but wanted a fuller look so ended up with a total of 42 flower blossom that make 840 petals not counting the individuals ones placed to cover any gaps, that said I will probably never again attempt the bottom tier again! The topper is my version of a fantasy flower a magnolia center with lilly petals idk what I was thinking I like the out come though. I also used a Martha Stewert mold and a Marina Sousa mold made by Marvelous Molds other rhan that there was a lot of tweezer action and edible glue.
