Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese filling and BC icing. Gumpaste Tiger Lilies and Daisies. I had second thoughts about even posting these pictures. I was so disappointed with the result due to the weather conditions for this out-door wedding. It rained all day and the humidity was horrendous! I suppose I was lucky that the lilies stayed in place as long as they did. If any one has suggestions or tips for attaching gumpaste flowers on floral wire to a tiered cake…I’d love to hear them:) I’ve only made a couple of cakes with flowers attached like this and it’s been a struggle for me every time! I thought the lilies turned out pretty; but I was not happy with them on the cake! TFL!
