I have been wanting to make this cake for a long time, and this was the perfect opportunity! I love fashion and studs are a trend that is still going strong, from purses to shoes and belts, shirts to dresses and vests they add an edgy embellishment to any look. Black fondant with edible gold leaf fondant studs and gum paste magnolia, I used chocolate ganache for this cake and loved the sharp edges I was able to achieve with it.
