Thought I would try something different for this Alice in Wonderland request for an awesome client. The cake topper, a gumpaste tea cup and saucer handmade and painted to resemble a vintage English design. Within the teacup Alice, also handcrafted using gumpaste, sits among red gumpaste roses. The lower tier of this cake provides silhouettes of each character or significant scene from the novel, all framed in gumpaste Victorian frames hand painted in 24K gold. Everything on this cake is 100% edible.
