An egg free vanilla sponge cake in a Jake and the Neverland pirates theme. I struggled to find a good egg free recipe so resorted to a cake mix in the end, worked beautifully. I had wanted to make one of the ombre ruffled cakes for a while so this was a good chance to do one, representing the sea!
I loved the hand-painted map, that was my favourite bit! All edible except for the palm tree which was wired.
