This cake m ight be lost in translation as I understand that Pantomime is purely a British thing. This is a cake version of a Pantomime Dame (or ugly sister). The part is always played by a man, the man tends to be of mature years and often a little on the plump side. This is a flambouyant character with bright clother, big hooped skirts, lots of make-up and a great big wig. The cake was commissioned for a local theatre group.
