I have been desperate to create a pirate cake for soem time but i have never done so until now.
the pirate ship and treasure map message plaque are drawn freehand and painted and all the modelling is edible with the exception of dowels, bottom tier chocolate morello cherry and top tier classic victoria sandwich.
Inspiration from lots of other great cake makers but basically i just had fun creating a great cake for a very happy 8 year old , I hope you like it too.
