Baseball cake with Logo

This was my first time transferring a logo to a cake. I traced the image onto a black sugar sheet and cut out with an exacto knife. Unfortunately I also cut my roll-n-cut mat :( Oh well, live and learn! This was also the first time I ganache’d a cake before adding fondant and I am IN LOVE with the process. Makes the fondant sooooo much smoother! I used buttercream between the layers. After making the pennant, my lovely 16 year old daughter informed me that it should have been turned the other way around, but the cake is for a friend and free, so you get what you get! lol
