I made this cake for my nephew’s birthday. He is in a bass fishing club. This was one of my first few cakes and still one of my favorites and funnest to make.

The water is cake and the fish is rice cereal treats covered in fondant and hand painted. The cat tails are gum paste. I also made some cupcakes to co with the cake and make lures, floats and weights out of gum paste to top them for decor.

Really enjoyed making this!
