This little cake was a very special little cake. A friend of mine had a friend, a lady that i had never met, who was fighting a rare form of cancer. To be able to get treatment she needed to go to a hospital in Germany at great cost. All her friends came together to raise the money needed and part of that was a raffle. After going through cancer twice with my dad i knew i needed to do something to help so i made this little cake to add to the raffle. I’m told all went well and quite alot of money was raised that night. Sadly, the lady passed away a few weeks later and at her request the money was donated to The Pilgrims Hospice.
