My brief for this was “Max would like a monkey eating a watermelon”. Monkey was carved from Chocolate cake and the watermelon was made from Red Velvet cake. I had meant to carve in some bite marks but it was late at night and slipped my mind:-P Monkey is covered in Chocolate ganache and chocolate fondant. Watermelon is covered in Red coloured white choc ganche then a marbled green fondant for watermelon skin. Loved the reaction from Max when he opened the box. Monkey based on Curious George.
