Buzz Lightyear Birthday Cake

This was a fun cake to work on – used the style of a cake found on cc. Top tier was chocolate truffle with chocolate ganache filling, bottom tier was vanilla buttermilk with vanilla buttercream filling, both covered in fondant. The “spaceship wings” toward the back of the cake were a gum paste/fondant mixture, but all other details were fondant. Buzz was a toy bought from the toy store as I was just not up for attempting sculpting of that nature lol!
