For a friend’s baby shower. They gave me their invitation and let me do whatever I wanted and this is what I surprised them with – I’m loving the chalkboard gray and dusty pink colors together. The 6 inch round double barrel cake is about 6.5 inches tall and I made 5 different topper designs for the 3 dozen cupcakes. The cake and the gray domed cupcakes were chocolate and the pink topped cupcakes were vanilla. The baby carriage is made out of gumpaste and everything else is decorated in MMF (marshmallow fondant). The cake is handpainted in white AmeriColor gel color diluted with vodka.
