What a hoot.

Owl cake made using a tutorial by Royal Bakery. It’s a vanilla sponge with jam & buttercream filling. I didn’t have a dolly Varden pan so made in a Pyrex bowl & carved it into a better shape. Unfortunately it’s not tall enough to cut out to make the ears so I made them out of RKT. The birthday girl loves anything owl related so I think she’ll like it.

Just a hobby baker but love seeing other people's work & aspire to creating something as beautiful one day.
