This cake was a Birthday surprise for a 41st Birthday. There was a bit of pressure, as just a weekend before it was due, i got sick, which left me with 4 days to bake, make figurines and decorate the cake. I felt the pressure, but I knew I could do it ( or at least that’s what I was telling myself).
Of course sleep needed to be sacrificed, but cake was done and loved by the Birthday boy and his racing buddies, who especially appreciated the racing guernsey , that we included on a figurine. Bike was handmade as well, based on the photo of his actual Giant bike.
