I was really excited when Cake Central Magazine invited me to make a cake for them. The topic was: Ombre Navy-Pink Wedding Cake. This is what I came up with. The cakes are covered in sugarpaste, the flowers and tiers inside the “dome” are hand-painted and the “dome” itself and all the curly bits are made with royal icing. I really enjoyed making this cake! It was published in Cake Central Magazine Issue 4 Volume 4.
