I had so much fun doing this cake. I fell in love with Wonder Cakes’ Safari cakes which is what this is very based on, so my original design went completely out the window.
The theme for the party was Safari with the Giraffe being the dominant animal. The animals were all made out of modelling chocolate, thanks to Jo from Ciccio who kindly gave me some of her own blend of yellow modelling chocolate for the two giraffes (and good stuff it is too). And this lucky little boy also got to have a smash cake.

Thanks Kiwicaklebloke. Jo makes her own it’s awesome. Most of the animals were made using the Chocolate Earth modelling paste as that’s what I already had.
