Adventures of TinTin Cake

A friend ordered this for her husband who has a extreme love of Tintin and who has done some extensive traveling. We are both military families and they are about to pack up and head out again so she thought a suitcase was fitting for the occasion. Each luggage sticker is a place he has travelled to. Snowy has been replaced with the couples spoiled basset hound, “Pickles”. The cake was a 6×3 chocolate rum cake filled with dark chocolate rum ganache and mocha swiss meringue buttercream. I did the cast of characters as cupcake toppers to accompany the cake. These were carrot cake with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream.
