I have prepared this cake for my first wedding fayre last weekend in Worthing, West Sussex. I gave it a traditional square look with hand piped royal icing designs, however I have also given it a modern twist, by using a home made marshmallow paste/sugar paste mixture.
I wanted to show to the brides and grooms, that you can still go for a traditional look, by using modern techniques and flavours. It proved very popular too! Mind you, it did take hours to make :)
