The Ice Dream wedding cake! This was for a seaside wedding but rather than the obvious shells and starfish the bride wanted something more vintage English style in a pastel palette. So we took inspiration from the seaside lights along the prom (top tier) Candy floss, ice cream & itsy bitsy polka dot bikini on the middle tier & ice blue & pink stripes to represent the beach huts close by! The rose topper and bling were added to match the brides bouquet and all tie in the theme together. This was a massive cake with the bottom tier being 12" and 5" in depth! The bottom tier was rich brandy soaked fruit cake, middle tier is 3 layers of buttery Madeira cake with lemon buttercream & the top tier is a light Victoria sponge with raspberry jam & vanilla buttercream – so something for everyone!
