Teddy bear christening cake

This cake was for my gorgeous nephew will’s christening . The main cake was in fact two cakes in one. Inside the gum paste box was two separate cakes on the bottom we re- used the top tier of their wedding cake which we kept frozen until now, and the other was a sponge cake . The teddy bear was made from marshmallow rice crispies and covered in gum paste – with gum paste fur. The bow is gum paste too. Loved doing this cake but there were a opulent of very late nights trying to get the fur done as I underestimated the time it would take!! But I am pleased with the end result xx
