A Spring Wedding

I could’ve cried making this wedding cake for my cousin last week!

I cooked all 3 tiers and when I was ready to start decoratiing I cut into the 1st cake only to realise that it hadn’t cooked through! Then the same with the 2nd and the 3rd!!! I had to re cook all 3 cakes…arghhhh

I had a few extremely late nights on this to get it ready in time but It all came good in the end! phew!!

The detail on the bottom tier is taken from the brides dress and there are a total of 830 blossoms on the cake.

All 3 tiers are chocolate sponge with a chocolate ganach and chocolatte mousse filling.

I feel for you. It almost seem to me that the cakes I want to do the best on is the ones that give me trouble. The cake looks great though. It is really lovely!
