Inspired by Carlos Lischetti’s book Animation in Sugar. Made a mold for the ballerina’s face from one of my daughter’s Barbie dolls. I guess it was a good thing she didn’t let me get rid of them (she is 26). Cake is again champagne, orange curd, orange & champagne SMBC, MMF. My daughter is delivering this on Sunday. Hoping it reaches its destination looking like this. It is 1 1/2 hr drive.
Very nice!

So neat & pretty!
very pretty Goretti I love the skirt around the cake
It’s beautiful Goreti! I also love the way you made the ruffled skirt around the bottom! Your little ballerina turned out so cute. What a great idea to use a Barbie doll face to make a mold!
