Juliet's Cake!

Cake by hellobabycakes posted 111 days ago 221 views 3 times favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites

A parisienne theme 18th birthday cake for Juliet! Im so in love with this cake it was very difficult to let it go! Juliet’s mum wanted a very grown up cake with a young twist, which is why elements of Juliet’s bedroom are the cake topper. She is obsessed with Cath Kidston bedding and the bedspread is handpainted to match her favourite pattern. It features her favourite book, French macarons, magazine and headphones! She also loves Tiffany jewellery (who doesn’t!) so the charms around the cake are a nod to that and each have a meaning for her. All decorations are hand cut and edible! The cakes were vanilla with jam and buttercream filling and chocolate chip with salted caramel buttercream – yum! This cake is my first attempt at quilting and im really pleased with how it came out!
