Happy First Birthday Little Dude! I had so much fun making this Finding Nemo Cake for a friend’s son’s first birthday. And then delivering it in a snow storm! The cake is a salted caramel chocolate cake (Martha Stewart recipe—soooo yummy!). All three tiers are covered in chocolate ganache and then fondant with fondant and gumpaste characters and decorations. The red coral is melted and shaped Jolly Ranchers. Each cake I make is an adventure and opportunity to learn to things. So much fun!
