Loved making this cake for a friends mothers 50th Birthday. She loves purples and lilacs and thought the contrast between the stark white cakes to the deep purple looked fab and the ruffle effect flowers were so easy to achieve. I will definitely be giving them a go again!! Bottom tier is a vanilla cake wih strawberry preserve and vanilla buttercream and white chocolate ganache. Top tier is a zesty lemon with a lemon filling and buttercream and white chocolate ganache xxx
