My first rose and frill cake

This cake was 2 firsts for me. First time making a rose and first time making fondant frills.

It was my mom’s birthday and she asked for a cake with a single rose. In my years of cake decorating, I’ve never actually gotten around to trying out a rose before! GASP I think it came out okay but I definitely need some practice.
