The Old Lie

I wanted to raise some money for the Poppy Appeal last November, so I made these poppyseed cupcakes and sold them at my Grandma’s school. I raised £45, if I remember correctly.

Sadly, the humidity in my kitchen caused the poppies to sag and melt, and even the few I could salvage to look half decent for the photos look waxy. This year I’ll do it better.
